Utah Valley Youth Symphony Orchestra

LEGACY 2007

FEATURING BOSTON, PALMYRA,

CHICAGO, AND NAUVOO.

Tour Cost is $1975 Per Person

This unique tour is of special interest to most of our constituents as it blends the rich heritage of American History with some of the most meaningful aspects of L.D.S. Church History. The cost of $1975 per person includes all travel arrangements, lodging, two meals each day, sightseeing trips and admissions to all scheduled attractions, transportation of instruments, performance and concert expense — virtually everything except:

  • Your own personal clothing and other personal traveling articles.
  • Your own personal spending money.

INTERESTED IN PERFORMING ?  Call the tour host, Brent Taylor (801-377-5885) for an application.  Those interested in chaperoning or just going along for fun should call the same number.  A $300 deposit is required with your application. Monthly payments can then be made with the balance due by May 1, 2007.

The tour itinerary is tentative.  It will change as concert schedules are finalized and activities are confirmed.  Detailed schedules will be available approximately one month prior to departure.

Accommodations are quad-occupancy depending on location and final hotel arrangements.  Double occupancy is available for an additional fee. Two meals per day are provided, the rest will be of individual taste (on your own).  A suitable breakfast will be provided every day.

Tour Price is based on current information about travel expenses and hotel rates.  It may change slightly if rates go up, but experience tells us that it probably will not.

Insurance on your instrument whether it is rented, owned or borrowed is highly recommended.

Please join us for this fabulous tour!

Finally, we’ll go to the Hill Cumorah to see the new Visitors Center and the monument on the hill which marks the spot where the plates were found.

July 9:  Palmyra to Kirtland:  This morning, we’ll enjoy a drive along Lake Erie into Ohio and on to the Kirtland area arriving after lunch.  On the way back, we’ll be guests in the home/farm of an Amish family for a DELICIOUS home-cooked dinner that you’ll never forget.
